About Charles Marsh
Charles L. Marsh (Sidebottom) is a Partner with C3, Consumer Centric Consulting, an independent retail and wholesale consulting firm. He currently works with both large and small retail/wholesale clients on overall Business Strategy, IT Strategy, OmniChannel initiatives and Program Management for business systems implementations.
Charlie has 39 years of experience in IT/Operations of which 30 are in Retail and Wholesale He has had direct responsibility for the IT(Financial, Store Systems, Planning and Allocation, Supply Chain, eCommerce, BI, CRM, MRP….), Logistics, Loss Prevention, Legal, Store construction and acquisition, and facilities for both US and Canada. He has also supported IT for the Japanese and Korean divisions of two companies.
In 1998, he was named to Retail Technology Magazine’s Top 10 CIO’s. That same year he and his team won the Retail Innovative Technology Award (RITA) presented by Chain Store Executive Magazine and the National Retail Federation for their success in the implementation and subsequent business effect from CRM and Replenishment when he was CIO at Camelot Music. His past positions include SVP/COO/CIO Escada US Subco LLC, VP of IT for Hugo Boss US/Japan, VP, CIO for Camelot Music, SVP Operations for eCampus.com, CIO for Arter and Hadden, LLP and VP of IT for Edison Brothers Stores, Inc.
Charlie holds a Bachelors in Computer Science from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and an MBA from Webster University. He is a board member of the Academy of Computer Science at S&T and a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, Blue Key National Honor Society and Theta Tau, Professional Engineering Fraternity.
